Cilantro with roots - $2 / bunch

Cilantro roots are a key ingredient in many Thai dishes, with a milder flavor than the leaves. They can be ground in a food processor, or a kruk (Thai morter & pestle) if you have one to make a paste to be used in recipes. Use the leaves as you would normally in any dish that calls for cilantro. Leaves can also be cut from roots, and the roots can be frozen for year round use.
